The ConnectX-4 Lx Programmable adapter creates a platform solution that can be customized using the onboard Xilinx Kintex UltraScale FPGA to create programmable application acceleration to enable a broad range of applications. The Kintex UltraScale device delivers the equivalent of several million ASIC gates worth of capacity. When combined with Xilinx design environments, such as the Xilinx Vivado Design Suite and SDAccel Development Environment for OpenCL, C, and C++, customers can quickly and easily create innovative hardware optimized designs that maximize performance per watt while minimizing latency.
The ConnectX-4 Lx Programmable adapter can be used to accelerate a wide range of network applications, including Security, Deep Packet Inspection, Compression/Decompression, High-Frequency Trading and many more. Thus, it optimizes and achieves the highest performance in modern data centres, private and public Clouds, Web 2.0 infrastructure, telecommunications and high-performance computing.

All are natively provided in the ConnectX-4 Lx adapter without the need to dedicate FPGA resources for them.
