Eurocom's mobile supercomputer now supports the most powerful graphics, NVIDIA GTX 980M in SLI

3 Nov 2014 Nepean - The EUROCOM Panther 5 mobile supercomputer now supports NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980M graphics in SLI. Eurocom customers can now combine NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980M or 970M in single and SLI with 32 GB DDR3-1600 memory, Intel Core i7 Extreme Processors and up to 8 TB of high capacity storage via four drives for unbeatable performance and capability.

Eurocom systems are custom built and fully upgradeable at time of purchase or well after, putting Eurocom customers in the driver's seat of their high performance laptop.

"Our customers will welcome the incredible performance of the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980M's 1536 CUDA cores, running at 1038 MHz and 8 GB of GDDR5 memory running at 2500 MHz inside their fully upgradeable EUROCOM Panther 5 mobile supercomputer", stated Mark Bialic, Eurocom President.

The EUROCOM Panther 5 supports both NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980M (8GB DDR5) or GTX 970M (6GB DDR5) graphics for unbeatable performance and raw power. The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980M's 1536 CUDA cores, running at 1038 MHz and 8 GB of GDDR5 memory running at 2500 MHz offers 50% faster performance than the previous generation NVIDIA GeForce GTX 880M.

The customer can experience great notebook graphics performance with next generation NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980M and 970M Maxwell graphics for advanced performance, unmatched power efficiency and cutting edge features.

The EUROCOM Panther 5 is an enterprise class system for professionals creating, studying and manipulating sensitive data, because of this, security is essential. Eurocom equipped the Panther 5 with a Trusted Platform Module 1.2 (TPM), finger print reader and Kensington lock port to provide them with the utmost in secure computing to keep their information, intellectual property and livelihood safe and secure.

The EUROCOM Panther 5 is a 12 lbs system that evolved from high-end notebook and workstation designs. In addition to all the standard notebook features, the Panther 5SE offers processing from 6 to 12 Intel Xeon Processor E5-2600 v2 or Intel Core i7-4000 series up to 4960X Extreme Edition due to a LGA 2011 socket and X79 Chipset.

The EUROCOM Panther 5 is fully upgradeable and custom built, allowing customers to choose exactly the processor, graphics, storage and memory they need to get the job done right and meet there specific computing requirements. Utilizing a heavy duty mechanical design the Panther 5 is built to last in the most demanding environments.
