Terascala announces support for Lustre 2,1

10 Nov 2011 Avon - Terascala Inc. will support Lustre 2.1 within its Terascala Integrated Storage Information System (TISIS) high throughput storage management solution.

TISIS v3.0 builds upon Terascala's proven management solution and features extensive analytics for Fast Data work flow optimization in the Cloud, in remote shared facilities, or locally.

"At Terascala, we're continuing to invest in the development of easy to deploy and manage storage appliances based on Lustre", stated Peter Piela, vice president of engineering at Terascala. "This new release of Lustre adds important new features that will accelerate its adoption into virtualized environments, which require performance, simplicity and manageability - all Terascala strengths."

Lustre 2.1 provides improved control over virtualized storage, wider platform support and other important new features such as support for larger OST and 3TB drives, as well as support for RHEL/CentOS 6 server.

TISIS v3.0 with Lustre 2.1 support will be available in Q1 2012.
