26 Oct 2011 Austin - Xuropa will integrate Univa's workload orchestration technology into their Software Sales Cloud - an automated demo platform with integrated lead nurturing tools for independent software vendors (ISVs).
"Xuropa offers a unique Cloud demo and SaaS enablement platform for vendors to deliver their software from the Cloud; Try-before-you-buy or pay-as-you-go models - Xuropa has you covered", stated Gary Tyreman, CEO of Univa Corporation. "Univa's unique automation capability can be built in to solutions to orchestrate the systems based on the application needs."
"Univa's Unicloud products enable our customers to maximize Cloud utilization, lower costs, and increase processing throughput", stated James Colgan, CEO of Xuropa Incorporated. "Using Univa's Cloud automation technology and Xuropa's Intelligent Sales Engine, software vendors can rapidly deliver their software as SaaS at scale."
Under this arrangement, for the first time, software vendors have everything they need to start a business on the Cloud - from a web-based multi-tenant SaaS front-end all the way down to automation of the underlying Cloud infrastructure from Amazon AWS or private Clouds.
"Univa and Xuropa provide a win-win for end-users and ISV's", continued James Colgan. "End-users want the scalability and ease-of-use of the Cloud for software they used to install on-site. ISVs want to meet this demand with simple, secure user on-boarding and business automation tools; all without touching a line of code."
With the combined solution software vendors have a complete solution for high performance compute applications such as simulators used in finance, life sciences, and engineering. End-users get the optimal throughput of their jobs on the Cloud, and vendors have software specific sales automation, monitoring, monetization, and automatic self-serve Cloud on-boarding.
