Two major innovations will be shown for the first time in India with Dataton Premium Partner, Video Design.
WATCHOUT version 5.5 multi-image display and presentation software has a number of newly added features including hardware assisted synchronisation, frame blending, dynamic IP addressing of individual computers, cluster naming and insertion of URL based images.
The software enables show professionals to orchestrate stills, animations, graphics, video, sound and live feeds across multiple display areas, soft-edge or scattered. WATCHOUT is fully scalable and uses a Windows platform.
On the booth, the 3D stereoscopic viewing capabilities of Dataton WATCHOUT will be showcased with live 3D demonstrations throughout the show for visitors to try out 3D for themselves. Enabling the presentations, Dataton is partnering with INFITEC GmbH who is providing stereoscopic projection systems and high-performance viewing glasses.
Also on show will be the compact WATCHPAX solid-state media server with built-in WATCHOUT multi-display software. WATCHPAX is designed for quick maintenance and scheduling. WATCHPAX comes in a discreet and stylish matte black aluminium finish measuring a tiny 127mm x 148mm x 22mm. It takes up the minimum of rack space or simply sits discreetly on the back of a flat-panel display. The unit weighs only 470 grams and consumes very little power.
To support the companys product introductions, Video Design has been appointed as the Dataton Premium Partner for India, responsible for the dedicated installation, support, training and sales of the company.

Following successful educational activities hosted by Video Design in early 2013, Fredrik Svahnberg, InfoComm Faculty, marketing director at Dataton will present at the InfoComm India 2013 Summit.
Fredrik Svahnberg will present "Technologies and Methods to Seamlessly Mix Live Video, Stock Footage and Imagery During Events" as part of the Entertainment and Live Events Track education series on 16 September 2013 at 16:00-17:00 in Room B and 18 September 2013 at 11:30-12:30 in Room C.
On 17 September, Fredrik Svahnberg will present Multi-Image Projection Techniques at 10:30 to 12:00 in Room D.
All presentations will highlight real-world installations such as corporate, public shows and promotional events.
In addition to Dataton's trade show focus, Dataton technology will be utilised on several technology partner booths including Christie (D40) who will have a breath-taking and colourful presentation created by projection design studio, BARTKRESA Design. The Digital Projection International booth (B20) will use WATCHOUT to manage content across its high-performance projection displays. The use of WATCHOUT by partner companies demonstrates its market-wide acceptance in effectively communicating the benefits of each company's respective products and technologies.
