The goal of ETP4HPC is to help the development of HPC technologies and expand the user base, especially for small-to-medium businesses that have no dedicated computing resources or HPC experts.
This goal is totally aligned with SysFera's goals: the company has always been dedicated to simplifying the usage of HPC resources and software. SysFera makes HPC as easy as possible to researchers & engineers, and especially for those working in SMBs, by providing a solution that helps non-experts in HPC focus on their core expertise.
Being involved in ETP4HPC will allow SysFera to share with the other members its experience in simplifying HPC and allow the company to work together to provide more efficient and integrated solutions.
Research still needs to be done for HPC to become "commonplace", and associations such as ETP4HPC constitute a fountain of innovation that will give birth to tomorrow's solutions.
Benjamin Depardon will be leading SysFera's effort with ETP4HPC, along with Frédéric Desprez, one of the co-founders and Deputy Scientific Director at INRIA.
