Bright welcomes PC Link Egypt to its Partner Network

30 Jun 2015 Amsterdam - Egypt-based PC Link is the latest organisation to join the partner programme of Bright Computing, an expert in high performance infrastructure management solutions for Cloud, Big Data and HPC.

Headquartered in Alexandria, PC Link is recognized as one of Egypt's largest hardware and software distributors, providing highly innovative and reliable solutions to customers in the petrochemical, education, industrial, tourist, shipping, and oil and gas industries. PC Link offers a broad spectrum of turnkey solutions for networking products and services, to fit each customer's IT requirements and budget.

PC Link has been delivering integrated high performance computing (HPC) solutions to companies for many years, and believes that Bright technology is a great fit for its successful business model; which comprises creating and delivering comprehensive software solutions with the added value of a range of services that includes support, training, certification, and consulting.

PC Link has entered into a partnership with Bright Computing in order to add Bright's best-in-class product suite to the PC Link portfolio, and to blend Bright technology into leading technology solutions for its extensive customer base.

Hany Shamsia, President at PC Link, commented: "We view Bright Computing as a key strategic partner for us, as its compelling product portfolio opens the door to a multitude of new opportunities in the high performance computing market, here in Egypt."

Lee Carter, VP EMEA at Bright Computing, added: “PC Link is clearly a significant player in the Egyptian market and we are already collaborating on a number of projects to incorporate Bright's infrastructure management software into PC Link's comprehensive HPC offering. We look forward to seeing this partnership go from strength to strength."
