WekaIO named HPE Momentum Technology Partner of the Year 2019

18 Jun 2019 Campbell - WekaIO, an innovation expert in high-performance, scalable file storage for data-intensive applications, was named Momentum Technology Partner of the Year during the annual Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) Partner of the Year Awards at its annual HPE Global Partner Summit in Las Vegas. The winning technology partners were recognized from across HPE for outstanding performance, collaboration and accomplishments that raise the standard for business excellence and customer satisfaction.

WekaFS, the world's fastest file system, is widely adopted by customers with I/O intensive and extreme technical computing workloads inclusive of artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, high velocity analytics, and high-performance computing (HPC). WekaIO and HPE work together to validate that the joint hardware and software engineered solutions have been tested to the highest standards from both companies. The engineered solutions are built on pre-defined configurations from the HPE's premium Apollo and ProLiant server product lines, combined with WekaIO Software creating an appliance-like experience.

"It's an honour to award partners who have excelled in developing their partnerships with HPE and grown mutual business opportunities with collaborative solutions for our joint customers", stated Paul Hunter, senior vice president of worldwide partner sales, HPE. "HPE is committed to innovating new solutions and enabling mutual growth together with our partners and our awards recognize the partnerships, collaborations and successes of our top performing partners."

WekaIO is currently a silver partner in the HPE Technology Partner Programme and works closely with the HPE Apollo Server team, most recently having developed the HPE AI Data Node solution. The company recently raised $31.7 million in Series C funding, with a strategic capital investment from HPE's venture capital arm, Pathfinder.

"We are honoured to have received this recognition from HPE - it's the validation of our strategic partnership", stated Liran Zvibel, CEO and co-founder, WekaIO. "We're a 100% partner-centric organisation and offering the WekaIO software on industry-leading servers from HPE delivers unmatched performance and scale, at a tremendous value. We are fortunate to have the opportunity to work with HPE to help our joint customers architect a modern storage IT infrastructure that satisfies the most demanding application requirements."
