D-Wave Systems to organize Quantum Computing Seminar at ISC16

30 May 2016 Frankfurt - D-Wave Systems, a quantum computing company, will be organizing a quantum computing seminar at the upcoming International Supercomputing Conference in Frankfurt, Germany. The seminar will take place June 20, from 14:00 - 17:00, in the Matrix conference room at the Frankfurt Marriott hotel - across the street from the Messe Frankfurt convention centre - at Hamburger Allee 2.

Organisations around the world are in a race to develop quantum technologies unlike anything we have today, with goals of optimizing cancer therapies, discovering new planets, supporting national defense and advancing artificial intelligence. You can find out why Google, NASA, Lockheed Martin and Los Alamos National Laboratory have already invested in the D-Wave 2X 1000+ qubit quantum computer, and hear about the implications of the benchmark results from Google showing a 100,000,000x performance advantage for D-Wave over algorithms running on classical systems.

The seminar agenda includes:

  • Introduction to quantum computing
  • D-Wave technology overview
  • Applications and programming
  • Demonstrations
  • Q&A

A networking reception will follow to give you an opportunity to meet other attendees as well as D-Wave staff.

You can register for the seminar at http://iscqc.eventzilla.net . There is no cost to attend, but space is limited.
