Mellanox announces new executive appointments

19 May 2016 Sunnyvale, Yokneam - Mellanox Technologies Ltd., a supplier of high-performance, end-to-end intelligent interconnect solutions for data centre servers and storage systems, has promoted Yaël Asseraf Shenhav to Vice President, Product Marketing, reporting to Gilad Shainer, Vice President, Marketing; Lior Ofer to Vice President, Global Support and Services, reporting to Aviram Gutman, Vice President Customer Support; and Yotam Lahav to Vice President, Project Management and US Field Engineering reporting to Aviram Gutman, Vice President, Customer Support.

"Mellanox is experiencing strong growth as we continue to drive new technologies to market and revolutionize the data centre. I look forward to collaborating with our new executives as each brings exceptional talent and drive to their respective roles."

Yaël Asseraf Shenhav joined Mellanox in July 2000 as a design engineer in the silicon group and has more than 20 years of related high tech experience. Most recently, she was Senior Director for Application Engineering and APAC and EMEA Pre-Sales within the Customer Support/Sales group, managing a team of 60 worldwide. Yaël brings diverse experience in both R&D and market and customers interface across regions with an in-depth understanding of Mellanox technologies, abilities, resources and products. Her main responsibilities as Vice President of Product Marketing will encompass all aspects of life-cycle of product management and product marketing. Ms. Shenhav has a French Engineering Degree in Aeronautics and Space Telecommunications from the "École Nationale Supérieure de l'Aéronautique et de l'Espace", Toulouse, France.

Lior Ofer is Mellanox's new Vice President of Global Support and Services, reporting to Aviram Gutman, Vice President Customer Support. He joined Mellanox in February 2011 as part of the acquisition of Voltaire after working at that company since March 2000. He was most recently Mellanox's Senior Director Global Support and Services with worldwide responsibility for global education, service delivery and technical support. Mr. Ofer has been instrumental in building out Mellanox education platform and services, offering the capacity to deliver services to our customers from network installation to a full turnkey solution. He will continue lead and grow Mellanox's Global Services including technical customer education services, services delivery and first line technical support. He has Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and management from the Israel Open University.

Yotam Lahav is Mellanox's new Vice President, Project Management and US Field Engineering reporting to Aviram Gutman, Vice President Customer Support. Mr. Lahav joined Mellanox in July 1999 as a student and since 2001, has worked as electrical engineer. During his 17 year tenure at Mellanox, he has held various positions including Chip Design and Verification Engineer, Chip Design Verification Manager, and Architecture and Design Validation Manager. Since 2010, he has managed the Customer Project Management team and in 2013, he also assumed the additional responsibility for all the customer facing support, pre-sale and field application engineering in the U.S. His most recent position was Senior Director, Customer Project Management, in the Customer Support/Sales group, managing team of more than 50 employees in Israel and the U.S. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the Technion University in Israel.
