Supermicro launches new high end 4-way SuperServer solutions supporting up to 6TB in 96x DDR4 DIMMs

5 May 2015 San Jose - Super Micro Computer Inc. has launched its new line of 4U 4-Way SuperServers powered by the new Intel Xeon processor E7-8800/4800 v3 product families featuring "Haswell-EX" 18-core processor performance. Supermicro's new 4U quad processor systems support up to 6TB of DDR3 or DDR4 ECC RDIMMs/LRDIMMs and are optimized for large scale mission critical in-memory computing, virtualization, ERP/CRM, Financial Analysis applications in Enterprise, Data Center, Cloud, and HPC environments.

The new 2U/4U/Tower SuperServer solutions are available with a variety of options supporting up to 24x 3.5" hot-swap HDD or 48x 2.5" hot-swap HDD/SSD configurations, dual port 10GBase-T and Platinum/Titanium Level, high-efficiency digital power supplies. Major components including storage bays, power supplies and external fans are designed for tool-less hot-swap offering ease of maintenance. With Supermicro's Green Computing innovations incorporating advanced airflow architecture designs allowing processors and memory to operate at peak performance while maintaining maximum energy efficiency.
