Bright partners with Bechtle to offer infrastructure management solutions to French customer base

3 Apr 2018 Amsterdam - Bright Computing, a global provider of platform-independent commercial cluster management software, has signed a partnership with the French division of Bechtle AG.

Bechtle is Germany's largest independent IT systems integrator, employing over 8,000 people. The company operates 70 systems integrations businesses across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, and has 14 European IT solutions businesses throughout the rest of Europe. Bechtle specializes in offering future-proof IT architecture, providing its customers with smart IT infrastructures and significant IT improvements.

Bechtle France has over 100 employees and supports a variety of large and small customers from many different vertical industries. Like Bright Computing, Bechtle France is vendor agnostic, building best-of-breed solutions to suit specific customer requirements.

By partnering with Bright Computing, Bechtle France brings High Performance Computing (HPC) to its forward-thinking customer base, making it simple to build and manage HPC environments from an easy-to-use interface. For organisations looking to automate the deployment and management of their HPC environment, Bright Cluster Manager for HPC provides single-pane-of-glass management for the hardware, the operating system, HPC software, and users.

With Bright, Bechtle customers will also be able to build and manage their machine learning environments using Bright technology. Bright Cluster Manager for Data Science will empower Bechtle customers to administer data science clusters as a single entity, provisioning the hardware, operating system, Big Data and deep learning software from a single interface. This will make it easier to build a reliable, clustered data science infrastructure, and once up and running, easy to see and act on any issue impacting data science cluster performance.

As part of their portfolio, Bechtle will also offer their customers Bright OpenStack, to deploy, provision, and manage OpenStack-based private Cloud infrastructure. Bright OpenStack provides headache-free deployment on bare metal, advanced monitoring and management tools, and dynamic health-checking, all in one powerful, intuitive package.

Vincent Pfleger, Commercial Director for HPC, Bechtle, commented: "Bechtle prides itself in being the only supplier that caters for all of our customers' infrastructure needs. By adding HPC and machine learning to our portfolio, we are now able to handle more projects for our customers, as we continue to support their growth and innovation."

Clemens Engler, Director Alliances, Bright Computing, added: "Bechtle France is building a team of highly experienced HPC specialists who bring a deep understanding of the HPC market to the Bechtle brand. Couple this with Bechtle's strong reputation in the market, and you have a winning formula; it's an exciting time for Bechtle in France."
