Give your research a boost at the SURF Research Bootcamp

2 Mar 2018 Amsterdam - Researchers and research supporters can use new ICT Technology during the Bootcamp to give their research a boost. This event is taking place on April 10, 2018 between 9h00 and 17h00 in Wibauthuis at Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, Wibautstraat 3b, 1091 GH Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

Have you ever wondered how ICT can boost your research? How you can speed up the calculations that block your laptop for days? Discover new possibilities and do more with your data.

You can choose between five hands-on tracks:

1. Compute: Introduction to UNIX, Cluster computing, HPC Cloud

2. Big Data Analytics

3. Scientific Visualisation and Virtual Reality

4. Sensors and Clouds: program your sensor-node and analyse the data in the Cloud

5. Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning

During the bootcamp you can train to use high performance computing to speed up your calculations, discover possibilities of scientific visualization, start using Machine Learning or explore the power of Big Data analysis in the Cloud.

Bootcamp registration is now open.
