First Europe-China HPC Conference "Partnership for supercomputing applications in science and industry"

The 1st Europe-China HPC Conference "Partnership for Supercomputing Applications in Science and Industry" is an open forum that will address a range of scientific and engineering challenges important for further development of high performance computing (HPC) in Europe and China. The conference will focus on the strategic nature of HPC as a crucial asset for the scientific comptetitivenss and innovation capacity. The conference will take place 8-10 April 2013 at the Grand Hotel Sofia in Sofia, Bulgaria.
During the Conference a number of prominent scientists and high level experts from Europe and China will trace emerging trends and new opportunities for scientific and research collaborations in the field of HPC highlighting possible needs for additional efforts between Europe and China in the future.
Hosted by NCSA, Bulgaria the 1st Europe-China HPC Conference "Partnership for Supercomputing Applications in Science and Industry" is specially designed for:
- Policy and decision-makers in the field of e-infrastructures in particular high performance computing;
- High level representatives from national supercomputing centres, from universities and other research organisations in the supercomputing and simulation domain;
- CIOs, CTOs and R&D managers, responsible for designing, deploying and operating computing and data management infrastructures.
