SISSA and ICTP Master in High Performance Computing to organize MHPC Workshop on High Performance Computing

26 Jan 2016 Trieste - The joint SISSA and ICTP The Master in High Performance Computing (MHPC) programme is organizing its first workshop to highlight the two foundation pillars of the programme: training and science. The workshop, which will run from 24 to 26 February 2016, will be a unique and international event that will highlight state-of-the-art High Performance Computing applied to computational science and engineering.

The workshop will be held in Trieste, Italy at SISSA, the International School for Advanced Studies, and it's a great opportunity for leading scientists, students and vendors.

The meeting will be opened by Jack Dongarra, University of Tennessee, a world expert in High Performance Computing. The best MHPC thesis prize will be awarded during this event, and an official graduation ceremony will take place.

Participation is free of charge.
