Nimbix addresses enterprise call for high-performance computing with executive sales hire


2 Feb 2016 Dallas - Nimbix, an expert in Cloud-based, High-Performance Computing (HPC) infrastructure and applications, has appointed Chuck Kelly as Senior Vice President of Sales. Chuck Kelly will be responsible for expanding the company's enterprise sales organisation and its channel of application providers, Cloud consultants and resellers, through focused HPC marketing and sales initiatives.

"Chuck Kelly brings extensive industry experience, knowledge and sales leadership to Nimbix", stated Steve Hebert, CEO, Nimbix. "His expertise in both sales strategies and the enterprise Cloud market will provide great benefits to us internally and most importantly, will expand our focus on the enterprise."

Chuck Kelly brings nearly two decades of technology sales experience to support the increased demand for next generation Cloud applications in machine learning, data science, simulation, seismic processing, bioinformatics and media with the Nimbix Cloud. Previously, Chuck Kelly held a Regional VP position at SunGard Availability Services, where he was responsible for leading the enterprise and public sector account teams. His teams were responsible for the SGAS portfolio - Disaster Recovery, Cloud, Managed Services, Consulting & Software - solutions. Prior to SunGard, Chuck Kelly held various sales leadership positions at General Electric, Lucent, and Insight among others.

Nimbix recently launched its JARVICE 2.0 Cloud platform - the new High-Performance Computing (HPC) innovation that simplifies compute-intensive engineering/simulation, rendering and analytics by reducing complex configuration and tedious data movement.

The best purpose-built architecture for machine learning, JARVICE 2.0 is ideal for simulation, real-time photo realistic rendering, Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) for bioinformatics and many other HPC needs helping enterprises move beyond searching for information, and into the phase of deriving insight from massive data sets.
