Bull reaffirms its outsourcing credentials for the most mission-critical SAP environments

2 Feb 2012 Paris - Bull SAS recently achieved 'SAP-Certified Provider of Hosting Services' accreditation in France, for the fourth time in succession. This accomplishment is additional proof of Bull's ability to operate an SAP technical environment that meets SAP AG's exacting standards in terms of service quality and customer satisfaction, providing all the necessary tools, resources and know-how.

With over a decade of experience in SAP outsourcing, backed up by a strategy focused on building a long-term partnership with SAP - Bull is also an SAP Services Partner, SAP Global Technology Partner and SAP Channel Partner, the Group has built up a comprehensive portfolio of services around SAP applications.

These services are largely delivered via Bull's two main data centres in France. This ensures that all the essential security, service continuity, data security and project management conditions required by the software publisher are met. All services also conform to the service delivery and support processes set out in ITIL guidelines.

Both data centres - which are regularly audited - have also achieved ISO 9001 v2008 and ISO 27001 certification. In May 2011 the main site, close to the town of Angers, was recognized by the European Code of Conduct as the top-performing data centre for energy efficiency, ahead of 120 competitors from across Europe, a dozen of them in France.

Jérôme Belley, Director of Bull's Outsourcing business in France, commented: "The 'SAP-Certified Provider of Hosting Services' accreditation represents the formal recognition of our SAP outsourcing expertise. The constant striving for excellent - which enables us to offer our customers better levels of service, security, data integrity and auditability - is a key priority in our outsourcing strategy."

Bull's extremely flexible, made-to-measure outsourcing offerings include critical Web hosting, high density hosting (up to 40Kw per bay), ERP outsourcing and running critical business applications. These services are at the heart of Le cloud by Bull, which provides hosting and operational services utilizing virtual private or dedicated physical infrastructures for business applications and large-scale development and testing environments, including SAP environments.
