The first HPC in Asia Workshop was held as part of ISC'11 and drew 90 attendees from Asia, Europe and the U.S. The success of that workshop led organizers to plan a second session in 2012 and expand the scope to include research posters. The scope of poster presentations include the following areas but is not limited to them:
All submitted posters will be reviewed based on their extended abstract of two pages (A4 format) including figures, tables and references, by the workshop steering committee. Posters will be judged based on scientific value as well as the subject's importance as an example of state-of-the-art research in Asian countries. You can submit your poster to firstname.lastname@example.org .
All accepted posters will be presented at the workshop poster session. The extended abstract and poster materials will be included in the online website as a collection of workshop materials.
The workshop will conclude with a reception held jointly with participants in PRACE (Partnership for Advanced Computing in Europe) Day, a parallel workshop being held on the same day. The goal is to provide a collegial setting to allow HPC researchers from Asia and Europe to network and explore possible areas of collaboration.
