EXDCI issues Call for Workshops for the European HPC Summit Week 2018

29 Nov 2017 Ljubljana - The European HPC Summit Week 2018, to be held 28 May 2018 to 1 June 2018 in Ljubljana, Slovenia will gather together the main HPC stakeholders in Europe. Similar to previous years, this edition will also offer a wide variety of workshops covering a number of application areas where supercomputers are key, as well as HPC technologies and infrastructures. The European HPC Summit Week also offers a great opportunity to network with all relevant European HPC stakeholders, from technology suppliers and HPC infrastructures to scientific and industrial HPC users in Europe.

PRACEdays18 is the central event of the European HPC Summit Week, and is hosted by PRACE's Slovenian Member ULFME, the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. The conference will bring together experts from academia and industry who will present their advancements in HPC-supported science and engineering.

Do you want to participate in the European HPC Summit Week 2018 with a workshop? Following the success of previous editions, EXDCI has issued an open call for workshops for HPC stakeholders - institutions, service providers, users, communities, vendors and consultants - to shape and contribute to the European HPC Summit Week 2018 (EHPCSW18), that will take place from 28 May to 1 June in Ljubljana, Slovenia.

This call for workshops is addressed to all possible participants interested in including a session or workshop in the EHPCSW18. The procedure is to send an expression of interest to have a session/workshop and agree on a joint programme for this week. If you are an HPC project, initiative or company and you want to include a workshop or session in the European HPC Summit Week, you can send a special document before 18 December 2017.
