European Commission to organize eInfrastructure Proposers' Day on January 19, 2017

14 Dec 2016 Amsterdam - The European Commission is organizing an eInfrastructure Proposers' Day, taking place in Amsterdam on January 19, 2017 from 09:00 to 18:00 at the Infinity facilities, Amstelveenseweg 500, 1081 KL Amsterdam, The Netherlands. The objective of the event is to allow the consortia currently preparing proposals for EINFRA-12-2017 to present their concepts and get additional input from potential partners.

The European Commission is launching a call for expression of interest to identify the consortia that would be willing to present their proposal concept during the event. In their presentations, interested organisations should address the following points:

  • Current service offering of consortium members
  • Target service offering at the end of the project
  • Sketch of the integration approach
  • Involvement of user communities
  • Gaps that could be filled by new partners

To allow for a fruitful exchange of ideas, small group conversations will be organised after the project concept presentations.

Participants to the event will be asked to fill an evaluation form to assess its effectiveness in helping emerging eInfrastructure consortia and other interested potential participants to prepare for the upcoming EINFRA-12-2017 call.

The deadline to confirm participation is January 10, 2017.

The final programme will be drafted on the basis of the contributions received to the call for expression of interest.
