Alberto García García excelled in composing well-written blog posts that achieved a huge reach on a variety of social media channels, and doubled the SoHPC YouTube views. He also presented his results in a unique and interesting way that was clear, concise and entertaining for the target audience. His overall work on leading edge technology was of a very high quality.
Simos Kazantzidis achieved an elegant visualisation with an original combination of representations, creating an impressive and usable front-end with a combination of charts and 3D representations of molecules. The combination of 2D and 3D representations side by side, the interactivity and the effective use of colour produced a user interface that demonstrated routine ease of use for end users. Overall, his visualisation was of a high quality and represented an excellent technical achievement.
