ISC High Performance introduces workshops in 2015

19 Dec 2014 Frankfurt - Based on popular demand, the ISC High Performance conference will debut full-day and half-day workshops on July 16, 2015, which is the last day of next year's event. The goal of the workshops is to provide the high performance computing community a focused, in-depth platform for presentations, discussion and interaction in subjects that interest and concern them.

If you are interested in hosting a workshop, you can contact the workshop chair, Dr. Bernd Mohr at b.mohr@fz-juelich.de as soon as possible. Since up to half of the workshops slots will be accepted early, ISC High Performance encourages you to submit your proposal as early as you can. The workshop committee is inviting proposals on topics related to all aspects of research, development, and application of large-scale, high-performance experimental and commercial systems. Topics include HPC computer architecture and hardware, programming models, system software, applications, solutions for heterogeneity, reliability, and power efficiency of systems, as well as topics related to Big Data and Cloud computing.

Workshop proposals need to be submitted by February 15, 2015. The committee will peer review all proposals submitted, select the workshops and allocate their time slots. All successful submissions will be notified on March 23. However, the committee will also make early acceptance decisions on a rolling basis up until February 15, as this gives workshop organizers more time to promote and prepare their workshops. If you would like your proposal to be considered for early acceptance, you can contact Bernd Mohr. However, all proposals submitted by the final deadline will still receive full consideration.

Full details are available at http://www.isc-hpc.com/workshops.html . The conference organizers look forward to hearing from you.

ISC High Performance is also accepting submissions for research papers, posters, HPC in Asia posters, BoFs and student volunteers. For submission and awards information, you can refer to http://www.isc-hpc.com/overview.html .
