The new back-up replication feature in VMware vSphere Data Protection 5.5 Advanced works out-of-the-box to copy back-ups of data into the Cloud through network-efficient, encrypted replication, without requiring add-on licensing or additional infrastructure components like WAN accelerators. Service providers can now build out these new back-up to the Cloud offerings with the general availability of VMware vSphere Data Protection 5.5 Advanced.
