Bull taps Nimsoft to expand its Vision Services

9 Dec 2011 Issy les Moulineaux - Bull has chosen Nimsoft Monitor to expand Vision, its services offering that provides IT Managers with a clear and centralized view of the key elements of their infrastructures. With Nimsoft Monitor, Vision provides end-to-end infrastructure and application monitoring and comprehensive SLA management, giving IT Departments a detailed view of their infrastructure, and greater control over risks, costs and service levels.

The Vision offering is also changing the way IT departments continuously monitor and analyze the quality of service at the user experience level. It encompasses the necessity to turn data into information and then into action to stay compliant with the requested service levels. Thanks to efficient event correlation and the fast identification of root causes in complex environments, immediate and appropriate actions can be taken.

"Today many IT organisations don't get the data they need. They have to deal with multiple tools, implementation projects are complex and time consuming and it's difficult to get the right information to make quick decisions. With the integration of Nimsoft Unified Manager in our Vision Services, we will deliver a single pane of glass to optimize the capacity and the performance of our customers' IT infrastructure whilst delivering against very competitive SLAs. Having the possibility to rely on a trustful service organisation such as Bull's for remote monitoring of their operations is especially important for our customers in their move to Cloud computing", stated Bertrand Ratouis, Marketing Director in Bull's Infrastructure Support and Services division.

Nimsoft Unified Manager is the de-facto standard for IT management in the service provider industry. The highly scalable, multi-tenancy focused solution has proven to be the right choice for organiations that need to ensure aggressive IT service levels and professional reporting with minimal configuration and maintenance effort.

"Our cooperation with Bull is a key milestone for both companies and our joint customer base", stated Philipp Descovich, Vice President EMEA at Nimsoft. "It allows Bull to offer a wide range of highly competitive services to its customers. And Nimsoft can expand its reach into the European market with a very strong and established technology services partner."
