14 Nov 2017 Denver - On November 13, the fiftieth TOP500 supercomputers list was officially released. China's Sunway TaihuLight maintained its top position for the fourth time in a row, followed by China's Tianhe 2A (Milky Way-2) and Switzerland's Piz Daint. In terms of supplier share, China's Inspur was ranked third globally owing to its 56 sets selected.
Included among the TOP500 are Cray, IBM, HPE, Inspur and other supercomputer manufacturers, with HPE topping the list due to its largest share with 122 sets. Inspur takes #3 market share in the ranks and has now 56 systems, up from 20 six month ago, a growth rate of 180%.
