This year's main programme will be held at Messe Frankfurt, from June 19-21 and the workshops will be offered at Marriott Frankfurt on June 22. The organizers have lined up a programme comprising compelling topics that will be addressed by experts in their fields. Worthy of mention are the Industrial Day and Deep Learning Day, which will focus on commercial HPC and AI, respectively. Both programmes are designed to benefit commercial users and the academic community.
The accompanying exhibition will display product demonstrations and research projects from 148 key vendors, research centers and universities in the HPC space.
The conference is officially opened on June 19, by conference general co-chairs, Martin Meuer and Thomas Meuer, followed by the conference keynote. This year's keynote is delivered by Professor Dr. Jennifer Chayes of Microsoft Research on Network Science. She is talking about how massive data networks are challenging our conventional models in database management and are spurring new applications.
Another high point is the announcement of the 49th TOP500 list. Project co-founder Erich Strohmaier presents the highlights of the new rankings and discusses the latest trends.
