No ISC 2020 in Frankfurt but a digital event from June 22-24 instead

10 Apr 2020 Frankfurt - In less than four months the COVID-19 pandemic has created unprecedented global health and economic crises. It has quickly altered our lives. We are now more concerned about our families; we cannot conduct business as usual and even our daily movement is restricted. If there is one thing that ISC can control right now, it is ensuring the safety and well being of its attendees, exhibitors, its partners and employees.

Therefore, it is with a heavy heart that Martin and Thomas Meuer, ISC General Co-Chairs, announce their decision to cancel ISC 2020 in Frankfurt, Germany. In its place they will offer a leaner version of the conference in digital form from June 22 to 24. It will be free so everyone in the HPC community can benefit from it. The ISC General Co-Chairs will be revealing the programme details in the coming weeks.

Their commitment toward this community does not stop here. Supporting each other is important in any crisis, and in this spirit, they will be approaching their individual stakeholders to discuss how they can move forward together. As for now they ask for your patience. They will come back to you once all the details regarding the termination of the onsite event are finalized.

In any case, they still plan to publish all accepted Research Papers and post-conference Workshop Proceedings with Springer's Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS).

ISC 2021 will take place from June 27-July 1, 2021. Martin and Thomas Meuer look forward to reuniting with all of you then.
