Rijeka University installs the fastest supercomputer in Croatia


16 Oct 2015 Zagreb - Novi List reports that the supercomputer "Bura", worth 44 million kuna (5,8 million Euro), arrived this week at the campus of the University of Rijeka. Bura is 40 times faster than the current fastest supercomputer in Croatia, Isabelle at SRCE in Zagreb. Pero Lucin, rector of the University told Novi List the machine will be an infrastructure for advanced computing including for drug design, and monitoring air pollution. Also companies can use the system.
