A short summary of the task descriptions:
The Senior Programme Officer supports the Executive Director in all his work and decisions, upon request in his/her mission in respect of technical issues. This includes preparation of calls for proposals/tenders including their evaluation, expert assignment, grant agreement management, national points of contact and project coordinators. The Senior Programme Officer will contribute to the preparation and implementation of the technical and administrative activities necessary to accomplish the mission and objectives of the Joint Undertaking, i.e. to develop and support a highly competitive and innovative HPC ecosystem and to implement and operate the European integrated world-class supercomputing and data infrastructure.
The Executive Secretary provides the secretarial support of the Executive Director, provides the planning the activities of the Executive Director's Office, provides administrative support in the relations with EuroHPC JU Bodies, and does the general coordination of the document management within the JU. He/she shall report directly to the Executive Director of the EuroHPC JU.
The Legal Officer provides the Executive Director with all relevant legal advice and support for the smooth operation of the activities of the JU, monitors the implementation of contractual obligations of the JU, and drafts the legal documents of the JU. As HR Officer, he/she manages HR personal files, assists in the implementation of the staff policy and is the JU's Data Protection Officer. He/she shall report directly to the Executive Director of the EuroHPC JU.
Closing date for the job vacancies is expected to be October 31st, 2019.
The EuroHPC Joint undertaking had job vacancies earlier in May and June, including for Executive Director. We do not know officially yet whether people have been hired.
