Sentient builds AI supercomputer out of thousands of distributed idle computers

"AI Supercomputer Built by Tapping Data Warehouses for Their Idle Computing Power" Sentient wants to do what Google and Baidu did in deep machine learning, but then not the easy way - running it in own data centres - but the hard way with a system of hundreds of thousands of computers linked over the Internet.
