With this partnership agreement, Bright Computing will bundle Rogue Wave's TotalView advanced debugger with its Bright Cluster Manager product. Bright Computing's new and existing customers at no additional cost will now receive a scalable, multi-core debugger, with both reverse and memory debugging functions, to help increase productivity and shorten development lifecycles. Quantum communication systems offer the promise of virtually unbreakable encryption. Unlike classical encryption, which is used to send secure data over networks today and whose security depends on the difficulty of solving mathematical problems like the factoring of large numbers, most quantum encryption schemes keep the encryption key separate from the data. This approach ensures that an eavesdropper with access only to the data could not decipher the key. This summer, the Texas Advanced Computing Center (TACC) at the University of Texas at Austin will leap from 10 gigabits per second (Gbps) to 100 Gbps in Internet connectivity with the help of Internet2, operator of the nation's fastest research and education network.
