Supercomputer centre IT4Innovations announced the results of the 12th Open Access Grant Competition results. Across 62 successful projects a total of 58,894,000 core hours were allocated. A total of 84.498.100 core hours were requested. Requested computational resources exceeded the reserved capacity that accounts for 48.000.000 core hours by 76%. Considering the high interest in computational resources in relation to offered resources, the Allocation Commission decided to reduce the allocations of most projects. Full requested allocations were awarded to projects that were exceptionally well rated by independent evaluators, with an excellent history of scientific results achieved via previous granted allocations.
