The EC DSME site reports about a pilot called PerMed that takes place in Luxembourg. PerMed is a personalised mediccen project using Big Data and HPC. The data generated by the sensors from the smart shoes they were using showed changes in the movement pattern before the patients suffer from the typical freezing that leads to many falls and injuries.
