Focus on Europe

The European Parliament has approved a budget increase of 45 million Euro under the H2020 research programme. It wil be spent as part of the "Leadership in enabling and industrial technologies" programme which includes the public-private partnership on HPC. 16.7 million euro is already included in the 2017 budget. The final and formal approval of the Council of the European Union is expected in the coming weeks. Read further...
Qarnot computing has won a tender from Gironde Habitat to deliver its Q.rads crowd computing equipment and services to 49 apartments and offices. Q.rads are servers that deliver heating and WiFi and air quality monitoring to the appartments. Server capacity is sold by Qarnot. Roll-out is foreseen for 2018. Read further...
