At a Digital Pole conference in Luxembourg EC Commissioner Ansip explained the European Commission's plans with the Digital Pole that is designed to be a European centre of excellence, a magnet for digital policy and its implementation."Since the Digital Pole will act as a service centre for the entire EU, it demonstrates our determination to increase the impact of digital policies across all EU countries", Ansip said. Future technologies are a major priority: emerging sectors such as robotics and artificial intelligence, high-performance (HPC) and quantum computing.
