Last day of the ISC conference. Just an hour or so before the end of the conference. That's the perfect spot for the Analyst Crossfire, where four experts have to answer questions that Addison Snell fires at them in rapid pace. A quick answer, because there is the next question already. This year in Frankfurt the panelists were Ryan Quick from Paypal, Marek Michalewicz from A*Star, Rudi Fischer, NEC and Alexander Moskovsky from RSC Technologies. And what where they talking about this year? Of course about China. Still on top of the TOP500. The US export ban on Intel chips for the next phase of the Tianhe-2 supercomputer - pretty useless concluded the panel, because the Chinese just develop chips on their own faster than they planned.
